Last updated: June 2026. This policy governs unlimited outbound calling, SMS, and email usage on Signal Surge and Signal Apex plans.
1.0Purpose & Scope
This Fair Use Policy ("Policy") defines the utilization thresholds for Signal's software, data pipelines, and unified outbound communications infrastructure. This Policy applies to all accounts subscribing to Signal Pulse ($747), Signal Surge ($1,497), and Signal Apex ($2,997), including any auxiliary user seats provisioned to those accounts.
Our intent is to provide an unrestricted, high-performance environment for legitimate sales operations while strictly preventing infrastructure exploitation, automated robotic abuse, and credential sharing that threatens platform stability or commercial viability.
2.0Tiered Telephony, SMS & Email Thresholds
Outbound communication credits are allocated on a monthly billing cycle basis. Accounts are capped at the following hard thresholds based on their subscribed tier:
Signal Pulse ($747/mo): Allocated limits are strictly capped at 1,000 Outbound Minutes, 1,000 Outbound SMS, and 5,000 Outbound Emails per monthly cycle. This plan is restricted to 1 Single User Seat; credit pools cannot be expanded or multiplied on this tier.
Signal Surge ($1,497/mo): Allocated limits are strictly capped at 5,000 Outbound Minutes, 5,000 Outbound SMS, and 25,000 Outbound Emails per monthly cycle. These limits represent a shared pool accessible by the 2 included user seats.
Signal Apex ($2,997/mo — "Unlimited"): Signal Apex utilizes a Dynamic Scaled Pool framework to deliver its "Unlimited" marketing infrastructure. The baseline fair use pool for the 3 included seats is calculated collectively at 15,000 Outbound Minutes, 15,000 Outbound SMS, and 100,000 Outbound Emails per monthly cycle. Exceeding this shared account ceiling will automatically flag the account for administrative review to verify authentic human-driven sales activity.
3.0Scaled Multipliers for Additional Seats ($149/mo)
For accounts on the Signal Surge and Signal Apex tiers that purchase additional user seats at the rate of $149/month per seat, the account's total monthly shared credit allocation automatically scales to prevent sales floor chokepoints:
Surge Add-on Scaling: Each additional seat adds +2,500 Minutes, +2,500 SMS, and +12,500 Emails to the shared account pool.
Apex Add-on Scaling: Each additional seat adds +5,000 Minutes, +5,000 SMS, and +33,000 Emails to the dynamic shared account pool.
4.0Absolute Prohibitions on Automation & Telecom Abuse
The communication provisions across all tiers are intended strictly for manual, single-line human outreach. Violations of this section will result in immediate, non-refundable account termination. Prohibited activities include:
Multi-Line / Predictive Auto-Dialers: Connecting Signal infrastructure to background parallel dialers that dial 3 or more numbers simultaneously per active rep.
Robotic Voice & SMS Blasting: Deploying pre-recorded interactive voice responses (IVRs), automated voicemail drops, or mass programmatic text broadcasts to unverified cold lists.
Continuous Call Looping: Keeping active connections or "dead lines" running continuously to artificially inflate usage statistics.
Atypical Spiking: High-frequency, short-duration outbound calls (e.g., hundreds of sequential calls under 10 seconds), indicating robotic war-dialing or spam-box generation.
5.0Seat Integrity & Credential Sharing
One Human, One Login: Every user login (whether included in the base package or provisioned as an add-on for $149/mo) corresponds to exactly one physical human being.
Prohibition on Shift-Sharing: Credentials may not be shared across multiple individuals, virtual teams, or alternating global time-zone shifts.
Concurrent Session Flags: Signal monitors geographical and concurrent IP access. If a single user seat registers simultaneous outbound actions from two distinct devices or locations at the exact same time, the account will be auto-locked for seat circumvention.
6.0Regulatory Compliance — Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring all outbound communications made through Signal comply with applicable laws including but not limited to: the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, the FCC's Do-Not-Call (DNC) Registry rules, CCPA, and GDPR where applicable.
BuyerSignals provides the outreach infrastructure. Any regulatory fines, TCPA class actions, FCC violations, or legal claims arising from your use of the platform are entirely your responsibility. BuyerSignals shall not be held liable for your outreach activity.
You agree to honor all opt-out, Do-Not-Call, and unsubscribe requests within 10 business days of receipt. Failure to do so may result in account suspension in addition to legal exposure.
7.0Compliance Enforcement & Remedies
If an account crosses its designated monthly threshold or flags our automated anomaly detection engine, Signal reserves the right to:
Step 1 — Notification & Advisory: The account owner will receive an automated alert specifying the utilization anomaly, allowing 48 business hours to adjust sales floor behavior or purchase additional infrastructure.
Step 2 — Infrastructure Throttling: Temporarily throttle concurrent outbound line availability or email delivery speeds if usage patterns do not stabilize.
Step 3 — Mandatory Account Restructuring: Require the account to purchase additional user seats or transition to a metered, pay-per-use token wallet. Continued non-compliance may result in account suspension or termination without liability to BuyerSignals.
In cases of severe or immediate abuse (e.g., robotic dialing, IVR blasting, or credential sharing at scale), BuyerSignals reserves the right to skip steps 1 and 2 and proceed directly to immediate suspension without prior notice. No refund will be issued for accounts terminated due to Fair Use Policy violations.
8.0Changes to This Policy
BuyerSignals reserves the right to update this Fair Use Policy at any time with 14 days notice delivered to your account email. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
